Sunrise River Elementary School provides comprehensive educational programming for grades 1-5. The Sunrise River Staff provides a warm, welcoming environment that puts the care of the child first. As a responsive classroom school that uses positive behavior interventions, Sunrise strives to teach the whole child within each of our students. An already tech-friendly school, Sunrise River continues to expand its opportunities for students with 1:1 devices in the upper grades, and shared devices in the lower grades. Classrooms are home to SMART displays that allow interaction from students and staff. With these opportunities, Sunrise River provides research-based core instruction to all students. It also provides targeted intervention and support for individual students. This personalized learning approach allows for every student to feel supported from year to year.
Sunrise River School was built in 2004 with a unique blueprint. This layout is able to provide a large school opportunity, with a small school feel. The school is arranged in the shape of a diamond with different neighborhoods in each corner. The neighborhoods provide smaller environments for each grade level or department. The grade levels are able to develop a community and connection with the students and staff in their neighborhood. Sunrise River is a growing school that is excited to bring a high quality education to the community.
