About Community Education

    Hello, Friends!

I hope this letter finds you enjoying a few last sips of iced tea or lemonade.

This is always an exciting time of year as students, staff, and families settle into new routines and rituals as a new school year begins. For us at North Branch Area Public Schools it’s extra special as we welcomed our students, staff, and families back to our buildings after another busy summer of construction. It was fun to see and hear the positive reactions to a summer filled with hard-hats.

Thank you to everyone that participated in last spring’s Thoughtexchange. Your thoughts and ideas gave us great insight into the programming needs of the community. North Branch Area Community Education staff have been busy creating fun, engaging and fulfilling classes, programs, and events. Regardless of your age, we believe North Branch Area Community Education has something for everyone we look forward to you joining us!

Youth Connections is a safe, engaging, flexible and affordable childcare serving our community. Our amazing Youth Connections staff work hard every day to make sure your children are deeply cared for. Once again this school year, we’ll have a Youth Connection’s site in Stacy to meet the needs of our families in the southern part of our district. Stacy provides the same first-class childcare that is offered at our North Branch site. We still have space for enrollment at both sites and would love to serve your family. More information on the Youth Connection’s childcare program can be found on page 24.

The Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC) is always looking for new members to help with planning, programming, special events, and community engagement initiatives. If you are interested in serving on this wonderful committee, please don’t hesitate to contact me at (651) 674-1022.

Lastly, please stay connected with North Branch Area Community Education on social media. We can be found on Twitter and Facebook at @NBCommunityEd. We would love to hear from you!

We look forward to a great fall and hope you’ll join us!!
