About Community Education

    Dear Community Member,

Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that 2019 is here and that January is upon us. It is nice to know that the days are getting longer. If you are like so many other community members, you have spent some time over the past month or so refl ecting and creating your resolutions for the New Year. Whether your list of resolutions includes fi tness and health goals, better understanding your fi nances, learning an instrument or new skill, North Branch Area Community Education has something to help
you reach your goal and make your resolutions last.

Some of the resolution highlights in this winter’s brochure include: Painting a Barn Quilt page 8, Making a Leather Bracelet page 8, Retirement page 11, Family History pages 14 & 15, Exercise and Health pages 18-21, Dance Lessons pages 22 & 23 and many more.

If one of your resolutions is to serve and give back, serving on the Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC) is a great way to accomplish this goal. Th e CEAC meets monthly to discuss programming, special events and community engagement initiatives to
better understand and serve the needs of the community. If this is your resolution, please contact the Community Education offi ce at 651-674-1025.

Youth Connections is our first-class childcare program for students ages 3 through 6th grade and is still accepting registrations. Our friendly staff provide wonderful care for your child while meeting their social and emotional needs in a fun and safe environment.
Youth Connections has two sites; the North Branch Area Education Center and St. John’s church in Stacy. Both sites off er the same fi rst-class childcare for your family. For more information on our fi rst-class Youth Connections program check out page 33.
