The media center at Sunrise River School Elementary is home to over 18,000 books including picture books, fiction books sorted by genre, and nonfiction books to meet the reading and learning resource needs of all of our students. Younger students visit the media center with their homeroom class on a four-day rotation and older students on an eight-day rotation. Staff also provide technology support to students and staff. The media center features newly remodeled student friendly furnishing, a special reading room, and hosts Scholastic Book Fairs during fall and winter conferences.
