North Branch Area Public Schools - Forward Together!

  • Pro Start

North Branch Area Public Schools (NBAPS) is at the forefront of educational excellence and it is our privilege to serve you!

NBAPS offers a well-rounded education to bring out each student's gifts and talents. With programs unique to the area, our students learners benefit from programming that exposes students to a vast array of learning opportunities.

The elementary experience at NBAPS has so much to offer in this critical phase of learning! Our literacy program is grounded in the science of reading. It provides a strong foundation to secure a better future for children by helping them improve their literacy skills. An emphasis on problem solving in math is key to our curriculum design. NBAPS also has many hands-on learning opportunities, including art, music, physical education and Spanish, as well as science and engineering modules in its Project Lead the Way curriculum.

Our middle school program strategically builds the bridge from elementary to middle school with an emphasis on social and emotional learning and exposure to new learning opportunities. Students continue to amplify their unique gifts and talents through science enrichment, technology skill building and essential college preparatory coursework.

Our high school program offers several programs unique to the area, including the  Air Force JROTC leadership development program, the Pro-Start Culinary Program, and over 20 college courses taught right at the high school! Students can also explore courses and earn credentials in the areas of technology, machining, welding, auto and healthcare. As the North Branch area grows, so does NBAPS. We are expanding learning opportunities and accelerating into the future!

NBAPS serves all or parts of North Branch, Harris, Stacy, Almelund, Sunrise Twsp., Oxford Twsp., Lent Twsp., Fish Lake Twsp., Amador Twsp., and Chisago Lakes Twsp. NBAPS is currently also accepting open enrollment.
