NBAPS to Participate in Give to the Max Day Nov. 1-14

North Branch Area Public Schools is again partnering with GiveMN to participate in Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s homegrown giving holiday, on Thursday, Nov. 14. The annual 24-hour online fundraiser, now in its 11th year, has raised more than $170 million for more than 10,000 Minnesota-based causes. Donors can visit to find a cause they care about, and donate anytime from November 1 to 14.

To make giving easy for donors, NBAPS has placed the Give to the Max logo at the homepage of each participating school and program. Simply click on the logo to go straight to a giving page! Participating schools and programs include:

Early Childhood
Sunrise River School
North Branch Area Middle School
North Branch Area High School
Life Work Center/Norse ALC
Distance Learning
North Branch Area Community Education

“Give to the Max gives our stakeholders an easy way to contribute to the schools and programs they support” said Deb Henton, Superintendent. “The donations we receive help provide funds for field trips, classroom supplies, and much more. Those donations can really make a difference!”

In addition, GiveMN and its partners will award $100,000 in prizes to nonprofits and schools through Golden Ticket drawings. Event organizers work with funders and partners each year to plan Give to the Max Day as a celebration of the important work nonprofits and schools do in Minnesota communities.

“Give to the Max Day has become the Minnesota giving holiday for the past ten years,” said Jake Blumberg, executive director of GiveMN. “For 24 hours, thousands of organizations and individuals rally to support amazing and important causes that make Minnesota a great place to live, work and play.”
