NBAPS is pleased to announce that Erica Bjerketvedt’s position will expand from Coordinator of Early Learning to Co-Director of Early Learning and Community Education, alongside current Director Brett Carlson.
This staffing adjustment addresses the intertwined nature of these programs, avoiding a siloed approach to growth, and will allow NBAPS to utilize and leverage the skills and relationships Carlson and Bjerketvedt have across the district and community. This shared leadership model will accelerate collaboration with stakeholders to offer the best programming possible.
The co-director model allows for more flexibility, focus, and support for specific areas in community education, school-age care, early childhood, and kindergarten programs to maintain, develop and create the best programs possible.
This change will take effect immediately to be in place for the start of the 2022-23 school year. SKOL! Vikings!
