March 16: Clarification on School Age Care Hours

Dear Families,

Following a phone conference with the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) this afternoon, there will be an adjustment to the free school age care hours of operation.  Service will be from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm March 18-March 27 for students of emergency workers and school staff only.

Transportation will be provided to qualifying students of emergency workers and school workers. In order to plan bus routes, we need to know if you qualify and plan to access these services for your students.  Transportation will only be provided in the morning beginning at 7:00 am and in the afternoon at 3:00 pm.

Again, please review the definitions below. If you qualify and plan to access School Age Care and need transportation services please contact Youth Connections at 651-674-1029 by Tuesday, March 17 at 12:00 pm (noon).  You will be asked at that time if you are also going to access transportation. Specific pickup and dropoff times will be communicated after 12:00 pm (noon) on Tuesday, March 17.
