Who says you’ll never use math in the real world? 📐 On Wednesday, students took their geometry skills to the parking lot to solve a common construction challenge: squaring up a concrete pad.
Armed with only a string, chalk, and a 12 ft tape measure, they applied the Pythagorean Theorem to ensure every corner was a perfect 90 degrees. Precision is everything in trades, and these students nailed it! 🏗️

RobiGlaciers, FTC Team 7288, leave Tuesday, April 28 for World Championships in Houston TX. Judging and competition begin Wednesday, April 29 and continue through Saturday, May 2. SKOL! and good Luck to the team and the robot. Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts to make this experience a reality!

Congratulations to North Branch FFA members Breckin Abell, Addy Gale, Cole Brenneman and Savannah Selin for receiving the Minnesota FFA State Degree at the Minnesota FFA convention!
They are the first students in over 20 years to receive this distinction from NBAHS! The state degree is the highest award in Minnesota FFA and requires students to invest over $2000 in their Supervised Agricultural Experience, complete at least 360 hours of classroom instruction, and meet stringent requirements in community service, parliamentary procedure, and leadership activities above the chapter level. SKOL!

NBAMS 6th graders in hex 5 art just made fish and various creatures to fill the huge display case “aquarium” in the hallway by the south gym. Students could work alone or with a partner to draw and paint any marine animal on a large scale. The vibrant results really showed off the student’s personalities. Notice the great white shark about to devour the Cool Ranch Doritos!
