Over 300 people came together for a magical Tiny Prom last night! Guests walked the red carpet, danced to fun music, and created their own crowns, filling the evening with smiles, laughter, and celebration.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this special event such a success!

A representative from Auer Steel, which serves the HVAC community, visited NBAHS welding classes this week and taught students how to solder. Thanks To Auer for lending their expertise to help students learn a new skill!

Max Malmquist, local author and NBAHS graduate, was on hand at last Thursday's school board meeting to donate $100,000 to create long-term scholarships for NBAPS graduates.

Malmquist will continue to provide two scholarships of $2,500 annually for graduating seniors, and be involved in the launch of “The Max Advantage Financial Challenge” this spring. The Max Advantage is a personal finance competition focused on budgeting, saving, investing, and practical money management.

North Branch Area Community Education, along with the North Branch Beautification Association, is hosting a Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 21! Proceeds will go toward the Veterans Memorial.

The tourney is open to players 12 and up. See the flier for additional details; the deadline for registration is February 16. Registration is limited so register early! 

SKOL! to Scheuring Speed Sports for its donation of $200 to North Branch Area High School. A number of NBAHS students were on hand for the donation, surrounding sled #44, the sled of Scheuring Speed Sports pro racer and NBAHS alumnus Anson Scheele. Students were also given a tour of the team's race trailer. Thank you Scheuring Speed Sports for your continued support of NBAHS and its students!

North Branch Area Public Schools is currently experiencing a phone outage exclusively with Verizon phones. Staff are working diligently to correct this issue. Last Friday, Ms. Maggie's students had oodles of fun making milk cartons into magical ooey gooey delicious gingerbread houses!

Sunrise's Anonymous Santa Toy Drive was a wonderful success! Thanks to the generosity of our school community, all donated items were collected and delivered this week. Over 300 items in total!

Fifth-grade leaders proudly helped package and transport the gifts to our donation center, showing outstanding leadership and kindness. Thank you to everyone who contributed, organized, and supported this meaningful effort—your generosity helped spread joy and support to families during this holiday season.

Jim VanEerden coached his 600th basketball game last night! In his time he has coached both boys and girls at middle school and high school levels. We can't thank Jim enough for the countless hours he invests in our student-athletes, the knowledge he shares, and the example he sets every day. SKOL! to you sir!

Ethan Armstrong, Director of Communications at Open Arms Minnesota, visited Ms. Ehalt's Sixth Grade Advisory on December 5. Mr. Armstrong shared information about Open Arms Minnesota and held a Q & A session with students. Students in Ms. Ehalt's advisory handcrafted 30 blankets!

Open Arms Minnesota will deliver the blankets to clients along with their medically specific meals.
