Norse Area Learning Center is coordinating a food drive for the local Family Pathways food shelf. Students have set a goal of collecting at least 500 items!
Anyone interested in donating can drop off items at the North Branch Area Education Center, North Branch Area High School, or the Norse ALC–Brooker Building. For suggested donation items, please see the attached flyer.
The food drive will run from April 10 through April 24. If you have any questions, please contact Mindy Lattimore at milattim@isd138.org.

Your last chance to come and see all the great things happening at NBAPS in the 2025-26 school year is coming up! Friday, April 17 is the next and final Patron Tour of the year.
The tours begin at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.
Attendees have the opportunity to meet with Supt. Paul and enjoy morning refreshments, tour all of the district facilities, meet principals, observe classrooms, and have the opportunity to lunch with students eager to answer questions about their experience at NBAPS!

Annabelle Lattimore and Marshall Tveit are North Branch’s nominees for the MSHSL Triple “A” award. The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.
Annabelle participates in volleyball, basketball, golf, choir, and NHS all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Annabelle states, “I feel such a purpose in everything that I am involved in, and I feel like I belong in every one of them. It makes me confident that I will thrive in whatever future endeavors I choose.”
Marshall is in soccer, clay target, FRC robotics, and DECA. He has his Erosion and Stormwater Management certification through the U of M and should have his remote pilot certification this winter. He states, “My experiences in all activities have strengthened my communication skills and helped me become more patient, supportive, and confident when working with others.”

She volunteers with Feed My Starving Children, Trunk or Treat, Hay Days, and North Branch Midsummer Days, as well as Santa Days for the Stacy Fire Department and the American Legion. Aubrey also assists with the DAPE Challenge, ESY Track & Field Day, the Sock Hop for World Down Syndrome Day, community cleanups, and multiple youth softball clinics.

North Branch Area Community Education, along with the North Branch Beautification Association, is hosting a Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 21! Proceeds will go toward the Veterans Memorial.
