They also earned second place in the Drone Competition, and Raymond Johnson took first place in Individual Drone with the fastest time of the day. At the end of the competition, the Vikings finished third overall!

Welding students at NBAHS said "thank you" to Airgas this week! NBAHS applied for and received a $5,000 grant from Airgas to purchase a new multi-process welder, a welding coupon bend tester, and a large handful of other supplies used in the shop.
NBAHS is proud to be growing a strong welding and metal fabrication program and expanding a wide range of Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for students. These programs are designed to help students discover their passions, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for successful futures in high-demand industries that offer sustainable wages and valuable, industry-recognized credentials.
SKOL! and thanks to Airgas for partnering with NBAHS to strengthen these opportunities!

Thanks to the City of North Branch, Chisago County SHIP, the NBPD and the NBFD, and all the students and parents for joining us this morning for a rather brisk Walk and Roll to School! It seems like the event gets a bit bigger every time and it's great to see so many faces familiar from previous events.
Today we celebrated the completion of the CR30 project, including new sidewalk from Maple St. to the library, and new crosswalks across CR30, made possible through Safe Routes to School funding doggedly pursued by the city. Many thanks to Community Development Director Nate Sondrol for his work to secure planning and construction funds! A tip of the cap to these four students in Autos 3! Eli K., Caleb O., Grant L., and Anthony S. are using the skills learned in class to make repairs to trikes from Sunrise. Trikes are an important tool for the Sunrise SPED department. They help students develop motor skills, build muscle, improve coordination, and provide low impact exercise. Skol gents!
