5th graders in Mrs. John and Mrs. Peters class kicked off Mission to Mars STEM kits last week. We will be working on planning a mission to Mars including designing the base and energy systems, conducting experiments on various items, programming a rover and so much more. The STEM kits allow students to apply their math and science skills in a fun and innovative way! All of 5th grade is using the kits courtesy of Starbase MN!

At Sunrise this week, the 8th Grade Band performed for the 5th Grade. Fifth graders will soon have the opportunity to sign up for 6th grade choir and band.
