The Vikings will play Benilde-St. Margaret on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at Monticello High School. Tickets can already be purchased from the Minnesota State High School League at https://mshsl.hometownticketing.com/embed/event/358. Tickets can also be purchased onsite but only through the MSHSL online source. The MSHSL does not offer cash sales. Prices are $9/students and $13/adults.
The team will be escorted out of town by NBPD/NBFD around 3:30-4pm on Thursday, Nov. 9. If you are around please join the Grand to 95 to 35 route to see them off!
Sunrise 5th grade students are performing a Veterans Day concert on Veterans Day to honor all who served! The event is Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 am, NBAHS auditorium, and is open to the public. The event can also be livestreamed: https://youtube.com/live/IBjE-hlQdOM?feature=share

The game, against the Hermantown Hawks, is this Friday, 7 p.m. at Duluth Denfeld.

Recently, elementary student Ogima binese was honored as Student of the Week in his class. At show and tell that Friday he performed a hoop dance exhibition for his class. Ogima binese may be the first NBAPS student to perform hoop dancing!
He will be part of the Drum and Dance event at the Winter Solstice Storytelling, Drum, & Dance Night on Monday, Dec. 4, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the North Branch Area Education Center. See flier for details!
PUBLIC IS WELCOME: The Viking Challenge drill competition, hosted by the North Branch Area High School Air Force Junior ROTC program, will be held at NBAHS this Friday, Nov. 3, from 10 AM until approximately 3 PM.
Cadet leaders have organized the competition and will be taking the lead role in running the event. The competition will be an opportunity for the cadets to showcase their skills in military drill as well as their academic knowledge and physical fitness. In addition, this year a drone race competition has been added to the event.
Trophies and medals will be awarded to superior performing teams and individuals. Other participating schools include Como Park H.S.,Johnson H.S., Harding H.S., St. Thomas Academy and Cretin-Derham Hall. This event is open to the public. Please enter the high school through doors 5 or 11. Visitors will be directed to the event venues.

SpongeBob Musical is coming to the NBAHS auditorium! Community Ed proudly presents this middle school production on Nov. 17 and 18 at 7 pm, and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.

The North Branch Area Hockey Association is partnering with NBAPS and the City of North Branch to upgrade the outdoor hockey rink located South of North Branch Area High School. The rink will be ready to go in time for the cold weather. Hockey brings people together!
Hex 1 sixth grade Spanish students spent a week creating a game to teach Kindergarten Spanish students some basic conversation words. Then they walked over to the Ed Center and spent the class period teaching and playing their games!

Viking Boys Soccer is hosting an alumni game Friday, Oct. 27, at 6 pm, on the stadium field. All Viking boys soccer alums are invited to suit up against the current squad and attempt to teach the young'uns a thing or two about soccer. Do you "still got it?" See you on the 27th!
