North Branch Area High School

The NBAHS grounds are looking a little brighter after a large group of JROTC students spent yesterday’s Anchor Time removing trash and debris from the surrounding area. This work was 100% planned and organized by the Cadet Leadership Team and carried out by a couple dozen volunteers. Together, they picked up seven large bags of garbage.

They'll be at it again Tuesday after school when they head down to Stacy for the Adopt-A-Highway event.

NBAHS held a walking pep rally this morning for the Adapted Bowling Team's state qualifiers. The tournament is tomorrow at Bowlero in Brooklyn Park. Ian Gilkerkson, Noah Bodsberg, Madelyn Phillips, and LeeAnn Otterson will all compete at 9 a.m. in the singles meet. Madelyn and LeeAnn will also participate at 12:15 p.m. in the doubles event.

Only two days to inspiration!

Your Viking football players are staying busy in the off-season, by helping out in their community. Brady and Liam were spotted answering the call about a month ago, helping a North Branch community member move out of her home.

Sam, Mason, Brady, Cohen, Drew, Owen, Tevyn, Jack, Jr, Brody, Aaron, and Brolin volunteered at a recent Tables Around Town event, serving appetizers, delivering food, and busing tables, to raise money for the Chisago County Senior Center.

Players were also spotted recently At Jerry's Foods, bagging groceries to raise money for the football program.
