This morning, NBAHS honored girls track for qualifying for the Minnesota Track Coaches Association True Team State Meet! The Viking girls team placed second in the True Team section meet. However, with their great performance and high score of 605 points, they earned a wild card and a chance to compete at the True Team State Meet!
This is the 8th appearance at True Team State for North Branch girls track - the most recent in 2022. The girls compete tomorrow at Stillwater High School at 3:45pm.
As a way of congratulating them and sending them off with North Branch warm wishes, we will be doing the walk-through pep fest. The athletes will start down at the south end of the building and will make their way all the way to the north end by the gymnastics center. At this time would all classes please make their way to the main hallway for the walk-through pep fest.
The team will receive a NBFD escort to the tournament this Saturday at 1:15 pm. Come on out to Grand Ave. or Maple St. to see them off and wish them well!

Happy Hmong American Day! This day honors the diverse identities, cultural legacies, and historical contributions of the Hmong community to American life. In celebration of the day, several students wore traditional attire to school.

Congratulations to the NBAHS Adapted Bowling Team! They took 3rd place in the state tournament last Friday. Said coach Alyssa Nelson, "I couldn't be more proud of the North Branch Adapted Bowling team who took 3rd place in teams at the state tournament yesterday!!! They played their best match of the season yesterday with many PRs obtained!" More photos will be posted on the MSHL website.

Today NBAHS held a walking pep rally for the Adapted Bowling Team for qualifying for the state tournament! Shelby Pantelis, Leeann Otterson, and Briana Beck are competing in the singles tournament; Ben Elliott, Molly Sullivan, Briana Beck, and Madelyn Phillips earned their spot in the team competition. The MSHSL tournament is tomorrow in Brooklyn Park! Way to go bowlers and go get 'em!

High school mentors and middle school mentees along with 8th grade student leaders took a trip to Base Camp at Fort Snelling. They participated in many team building activities throughout the day. A special thanks to NBAEF for their support and making this trip happen!
