Prom attendees! Advanced Floral Students will be offering prom corsages, boutonnieres and bouquets to NBAHS students this year! Flowers will be created to industry standards and ready for pick up Friday, 4/25 after school until 5 PM. Options include: Wrist Corsages, Hand-tied Bouquets, Boutonnieres, Couple's Sets, and a DIY Design Studio option for students who wish to create their own. NBAHS Auto Shop is planning its first annual car show on May 5 for all students to attend! We are looking for anyone interested in sharing their cars at this event. Please see the flyer for more information and a link to the sign up form.

Students at Norse ALC are sponsoring a toy/food/supply drive for animals at the Northwoods Humane Society. If you would like to donate, please drop off items at the Norse ALC (Brooker Building) or the North Branch Area Education Center between April 1-15. NBAMS eighth graders just finished a Scratchboard Animal project. Students chose their own animal idea for a reference and were challenged to emphasize the animal's texture and show a wide variety of values with a focus on the animal's face. This project is "unforgiving" since once you scratch away the black ink to reveal the color underneath, you cannot bring the black back. Students could choose between a white, silver or gold background. Proud art teacher is Lee Ann Falen.

American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) March meeting will be held this evening (3/26/25) from 5:30-6:30pm at the North Branch Area Ed Center.

Congratulations to the North Branch FFA Chapter for receiving the Superior National Chapter award. FFA Members will be presented with this prestigious award at the MN FFA convention in April. Only 41 chapters received this distinction in Minnesota this year. Members have been working hard to create valuable experiences in the classroom and community through community service, chapter operations, and agriculture promotion activities. This is especially exciting as the chapter was first chartered last year. *The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality Chapter Standards (NQCS) and a Program of Activities (POA) that emphasize growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.

Last chance to join us for a Patron Tour this school year! Interested in attending NBAPS' Friday, April 11 Patron Tour? Patron Tours start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Guests enjoy refreshments in the morning, tour every site in the district, and finish the half day with a lunch provided by high school ProStart students. In between guests visit classrooms and talk with staff, students, and leadership. It's a great way to learn more about NBAPS from early childhood all the way through high school!
