Join us this Saturday for Empire Insurance Group’s Annual Free Paper Shredding Event benefiting Lakes Center.
Bring old tax records, outdated files, and sensitive documents to be securely shredded by Marco Technologies. This is a free community event, and Empire will donate $10 to Lakes Center for each bag or box shredded, up to $500.
Coffee and snacks will be provided, and attendees can enter to win a one year AAA Roadside Assistance Membership.

NBAHS students let their hair down, or put it up as the case may be, last weekend at prom. Thanks to Jorge Perales for getting some candids to share! The evening started with the "Arabian Nights" Grand March and proceeded to Jimmy's Event Center in Vadnais Heights for the main event. It looks like a good time was had by all!

NBAHS is excited to celebrate two talented students!
Quinn Colstad had their artwork selected for display at the White Bear Center for the Arts exhibition Vision & Verse: High School Visual Arts and Writing Exhibition. This juried show featured submissions from students across the Northeast metro in grades 9–12, with only a limited number of pieces chosen—making this an incredible achievement.
We’re also proud of Maddie Kim, whose short story was selected for exhibition as part of the same showcase (story linked below)!
Please join in congratulating Quinn and Maddie on this well-earned recognition of their creativity and hard work!

NBAMS 6th grade Spanish students spent a week creating games to teach Kindergarten Spanish students basic conversation words. The 6th graders then visited the Ed Center and spent the class period teaching and playing their games with the younger students. Sounds like fun!

Who says you’ll never use math in the real world? 📐 On Wednesday, students took their geometry skills to the parking lot to solve a common construction challenge: squaring up a concrete pad.
Armed with only a string, chalk, and a 12 ft tape measure, they applied the Pythagorean Theorem to ensure every corner was a perfect 90 degrees. Precision is everything in trades, and these students nailed it! 🏗️

TOMORROW NIGHT: NBAPS is proud to welcome Jackie Bird, renowned Native American singer, hoop dancer, storyteller, and puppeteer, for an evening of storytelling!
Jackie has shared Indigenous culture around the world, including a performance at the 2002 Winter Olympics, and is bringing her talents right here to North Branch this Friday, April 24.
