5th graders attended the Water Festival at Wild Mountain last week. Students learned about water conservation, water creatures, and native fish; and practiced casting and water safety among many other things at various learning stations. All of us in Viking Country are looking forward to seeing our Viking community at the game tonight. It will be a big crowd, so please read through the following game expectations so we can all share in a great Homecoming football game experience. It is sure to be a blast!


REMINDER: The Homecoming Parade, from Maple and Forest to Grand and on to the high school, starts at 3:15pm. Bring your Viking pride! Tailgating and fun for the whole family afterward. Football against Mora starts at 7 and will include fireworks! We hope to see you there. SKOL!

At the September 14 school board meeting, the district and its architect, ATS&R, received an Outstanding Design award from American School and University for updates made to the North Branch Area Education Center. Highlighted was the "ubiquitous" use of color, secure courtyard, furniture variety, media center learning tree, and energy efficient upgrades.
